First and foremost we are business people helping others to develop their businesses. We treat their problems and projects as though they were our own. To ensure we achieve this, we use the simple rule of treating our clients in the way we would wish to be treated.
The Peter Heath Consultancy (PHCMarketing) is a problem solving company offering a range of strategic marketing and market research skills related to identifying business opportunities, providing all elements of marketing programmes, improving communication and minimising business risk.
We always operate in teams appropriate in size to the requirements of the project - seldom alone. This provides continuity for the client as well as more considered recommendations based on the knowledge and experience of those with the most relevant backgrounds.
Our ability to see the wood for the trees is constantly honed through looking at different problems for different clients. And, as external advisors, we bring the invaluable perspectives of objectivity, impartiality and the commitment to tell it like it is.
We have no vested interest in any particular research, business or communication solution - so we can concentrate on identifying and recommending the most appropriate advice. And there are no `off the shelf' answers because, whatever the similarity between clients or problems, they are never actually the same.
We work with clients to develop a programme and wherever possible we `transfer knowledge' to client employees. We are able to work successfully with people at all levels within an organisation.
We are rather obsessed with finding the most appropriate solutions and continually looking to improve them. But we know the result must be suggestions that are timely, practical and make a difference.
The PHCMarketing team brings together a huge amount of knowledge and experience gained from working in markets where sophisticated marketing techniques have been developed. This encompasses a very wide range of consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) sectors.
Individuals within the team were originally employed by manufacturers, retailers, and agencies including companies such as Alpha Metals, BMP, Clarks, Cookson, Etam, Grand Metropolitan (now Diageo), Marks & Spencer, Smith & Nephew, Top Shop, United Biscuits and Viasystems amongst others.
